Rosehip can act as an antioxidant on your skin and protect it from damaging free radicals. Rosehip oil naturally contains retinoic acid, vitamin C and E which aid in smoothening and plumping skin without being too concentrated in its Vitamin A content. What’s more, unlike retinoid creams, this oil can be used on eczema skin conditions AND pregnant women.

The oil also contains linoleic acid that aids in reducing inflammation and hyperpigmentation with continued usage.

You can choose to use this oil on its own or add on to other skin treatments. This is also a natural lip conditioner where the oil can be used to moisturise chapped lips and boost its natural pink tones!

As a moisturiser: Pump 3-4 drops of oil onto your palm and activate it with body heat by rubbing your hands together for 5 seconds. Gently press your palms onto your face and neck.

As a facial supplement: Pump 1-2 drops and mix the oil into your moisturiser. You can also use it before applying it as a foundation to your beauty regime.

As a lip conditioner: Apply 1 drop on your chapped lips several times a day

As a nail strengthener: Massage 3-4 drops of oil into your nail cuticles once a week

Our Source

Our Rosehip oil is 100% unrefined, certified Cosmos-Organic and cold-pressed on a farm in the South of France. Cold-pressed oils are made by extracting oil from seeds or nuts without adding chemicals or heat, and therefore tend to be safer for skin use.

This facial oil does not contain any added fragrances nor essential oils, and is safe for use during pregnancy.

Comedogenic Rating

Comedogenic Rating: 2

The comedogenic rating simply measures how likely a facial oil will clog your pores. It ranges from 0 (little or no chance of clogging) to 5 (rich and high likelihood of clogging). Anyone who is acne-prone should avoid highly comedogenic oils, while those with drier skin types will need the extra richness from oils towards the middle of the scale to bring moisture to their skin barrier.

As with all products you are using for the first time, it is advisable to do a patch test to check for allergies.

  1. Apply a small amount of oil into the inside of your forearm.
  2. Cover the area with a bandage and leave it alone.
  3. Check the area again in 24 hours. If you don’t see any redness, swelling, or other irritation, the product should be safe to use. You may now add the oil to your routine.
